Applying unique land use stratgies for productive redevlopment

The Woodward Corridor Initiative has worked with the Detroit Works Long-Term Project/Detroit Future City  (DFC), LISC Detroit (LISC Detroi), the Community Development Advocates of Detroit (CDAD), Michigan Community Resources (MCR) and local organizations to identify where partnerships can be leveraged to examine policy reform, align resources and build support networks toward the goal of meaningful re-use of vacant properties.  This compliments the real estate and capital strategies whereby the partner community development organizations understand, analyze and track the challenges in meeting the demands of Corridor investments in housing, institutions, light rail and commercial redevelopment.
