Source Detroit is a program that connects Henry Ford Health System, Wayne State University, and Detroit Medical Center with Detroit-based businesses in order to stir spending and economic growth in the City.  Together, these anchor institutions spend approximately $1.6 billion on operational expenses each year. This program was created in partnership with the Midtown Detroit Inc., U3 Ventures, Detroit Economic Growth Corporation, and the three anchor institutions.  To date, approximately $10.2 Million in spend has been transferred to Detroit–Based businesses.  For more information, please visit  www.sourcedetroit.org.
